The small Melbourne company doing incredibly unique electric car conversions

Tucked away in a small industrial park in the Melbourne suburb of Clayton South is EVolution. A five-person team is working away at several top-secret automotive projects, unbeknownst to most of the country. The company was born of a random passion project in 2015, which saw director Russell Shepherd convert his own Audi A3 to electric drive in the absence of other appealing options on the local market.

Electric car powered by poo unveiled by Queensland sewage treatment company

A Queensland sewage treatment company has unveiled its latest electric car powered by human waste. Four years after introducing an electric Mitsubishi hatchback powered by poo, the firm Urban Utilities has put its second electric car on the road and called it “Number Two”. The Hyundai Kona electric SUV even has the registration plates “NMBR2S” (number twos is rhyming slang for poo, in case you weren't aware).
