No, this isn't hard-hitting news, but if you are as ensconced in pocket-size motoring culture as many of us here at CarAdvice are, then you'll be off to raid the Woolies shelves soon after reading this! For the 2021 update of their 'Mainline' collection, Hot Wheels have added the most desirable of all W124 series Mercedes-Benz sedans: the 5.0-litre V8-powered 500E.

Electric car powered by poo unveiled by Queensland sewage treatment company

A Queensland sewage treatment company has unveiled its latest electric car powered by human waste. Four years after introducing an electric Mitsubishi hatchback powered by poo, the firm Urban Utilities has put its second electric car on the road and called it “Number Two”. The Hyundai Kona electric SUV even has the registration plates “NMBR2S” (number twos is rhyming slang for poo, in case you weren't aware).
