CES 2021: GM teases Cadillac Celestiq electric sedan, BrightDrop electric van brand announced

General Motors has teased a number of its upcoming electric vehicles (EVs) during the virtual 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), including the flagship Cadillac Celestiq sedan and what appears to be an SUV inspired by the mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette sports car.

Convertibles exist in a strange space in the motoring world. The people who buy them aren't necessarily enthusiasts, like sports car owners, but they care enough about their car to buy an inherently compromised vehicle. The entire Mini range exists in a similar sphere. Expensive, small and trendy, the Anglo-Deutsch brand is reliant on buyers making a decision with their hearts, not their heads.
