2021 Volkswagen T-Cross long-term review: Urban living

I’ll be honest with you. The ‘Sport Utility’ part of the SUV categorisation given to our 2021 Volkswagen T-Cross 85TSI Life long-termer should probably be changed. I’ll get to the ‘Sport’ part shortly, but I feel ‘Urban’ is a much better inclusion within the SUV acronym, as running about town is what the little VW is made for.

Convertibles exist in a strange space in the motoring world. The people who buy them aren't necessarily enthusiasts, like sports car owners, but they care enough about their car to buy an inherently compromised vehicle. The entire Mini range exists in a similar sphere. Expensive, small and trendy, the Anglo-Deutsch brand is reliant on buyers making a decision with their hearts, not their heads. Electric car powered by poo unveiled by Queensland sewage treatment company

A Queensland sewage treatment company has unveiled its latest electric car powered by human waste. Four years after introducing an electric Mitsubishi hatchback powered by poo, the firm Urban Utilities has put its second electric car on the road and called it “Number Two”. The Hyundai Kona electric SUV even has the registration plates “NMBR2S” (number twos is rhyming slang for poo, in case you weren't aware).
