VW Kombi electric vans coming to Australia in 2022

The iconic Volkswagen Kombi is one step closer to making a comeback on Australian roads. The modern version of the 1960s hippie mobile – officially known for the time being as the I.D. Buzz – will play a leading role in the rollout of Volkswagen’s electric vehicle range due a little over two years from now. While the Kombi name and the production design are yet to be formally unveiled, Volkswagen Australia has all but confirmed the new Kombi is coming.

Electric car powered by poo unveiled by Queensland sewage treatment company

A Queensland sewage treatment company has unveiled its latest electric car powered by human waste. Four years after introducing an electric Mitsubishi hatchback powered by poo, the firm Urban Utilities has put its second electric car on the road and called it “Number Two”. The Hyundai Kona electric SUV even has the registration plates “NMBR2S” (number twos is rhyming slang for poo, in case you weren't aware).
