Geely Xingyue transforms Volvo’s CMA platform into Chinese large SUV flagship

The 2021 Geely Xingyue L has been revealed at the 2021 Shanghai motor show. The five-seat large SUV is built upon Geely's (and subsidiary Volvo’s) shared Compact Modular Architecture, which also underpins the Volvo XC40 small SUV and sits below Geely’s current model line-up. It appears Geely has also borrowed the “Expanding Cosmos” front grille from Volvo sub-brand Polestar, which is flanked by a set of new LED matrix headlights allowing for customisable lighting effects.
