REVISIT: 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review

March 2018: It’s almost futile to attempt to ‘objectively’ assess a vehicle like the peerless 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Does a buyer with anywhere from $200,000–$300,000 to spend really care about objective measurements anyway? Is there any merit in ‘comparing’ a vehicle to others when in reality it effectively sits alone in its class?

The people who buy them aren't necessarily enthusiasts, like sports car owners, but they care enough about their car to buy an inherently compromised vehicle. Electric car powered by poo unveiled by Queensland sewage treatment company

A Queensland sewage treatment company has unveiled its latest electric car powered by human waste. Four years after introducing an electric Mitsubishi hatchback powered by poo, the firm Urban Utilities has put its second electric car on the road and called it “Number Two”. The Hyundai Kona electric SUV even has the registration plates “NMBR2S” (number twos is rhyming slang for poo, in case you weren't aware).
