When I heard the Toyota Supra nameplate was coming back, I was just as skeptical as everybody else about what the package would end up looking and feeling like. So, when my name was put down to attend a prototype drive of the 2020 Toyota Supra in Madrid last year, I was excited to see what Toyota and BMW had come up with.

Convertibles exist in a strange space in the motoring world. The people who buy them aren't necessarily enthusiasts, like sports car owners, but they care enough about their car to buy an inherently compromised vehicle. The entire Mini range exists in a similar sphere. Expensive, small and trendy, the Anglo-Deutsch brand is reliant on buyers making a decision with their hearts, not their heads. That means the 2019 Mini Cooper Convertible is a niche car competing in a niche segment.

Electric car powered by poo unveiled by Queensland sewage treatment company

A Queensland sewage treatment company has unveiled its latest electric car powered by human waste. Four years after introducing an electric Mitsubishi hatchback powered by poo, the firm Urban Utilities has put its second electric car on the road and called it “Number Two”. The Hyundai Kona electric SUV even has the registration plates “NMBR2S” (number twos is rhyming slang for poo, in case you weren't aware).
